This Jamestown dining table has an Ash Veneered MDF top with a solid skirt. A balancing stain is applied by hand to even out the natural wood variation's, this is followed by a coat of tinted lacquer. A final hand sanding process is followed by a finishing coat of tinted lacquer. A base coat is applied to seal the board, this is followed by a fine sanding by hand and a further 2 coats off Old English White Matt spirit based paint. All paints used meet UK legislative requirements
