This Jamestown 2 drawer console table has a top which is constructed using a solid ash frame with exposed mortice and tennon jointing into which is inset a ash veneer faced plywood panel as wel asl MDF side panels & solid birch frame. The drawers front are painted MDF, solid Palomia drawer sides & plywood baseboard. A balancing stain is applied by hand to even out the natural wood variation's, this is followed by a coat of tinted lacquer. A final hand sanding process is followed by a finishing coat of tinted lacquer. Then another base coat is applied to seal the board, this is followed by a fine sanding by hand and a further 2 coats off Old English White Matt spirit based paint. All paints used meet UK legislative requirements.
